Location

VOI Daniela Essentia is located in the heart of Salento, about 1 km from the coast and 12 km from the town of Otranto. An ideal place for a holiday of relaxation and fun, the resort is easily reached from Brindisi airport, which is about 80 km away.

Hotel

Nestled in a centuries-old pine forest, VOI Daniela Essentia is a village surrounded by greenery, covering an area of approximately two hectares.
Beyond the pine forest lies the sea, a cove reserved for resort guests. About 150 metres from the resort are other coves, nestled between high tuff cliffs, overlooking crystal clear waters. 
The resort welcomes guests aged 12 and over, guaranteeing a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere, ideal for those seeking a holiday dedicated to wellness and tranquillity.
VOI Daniela is barrier-free and has recently obtained GSTC (Global Sustainable Tourism Council) certification.

Rooms

The hotel features 129 rooms, elegantly distributed across two- and three-storey buildings. Bright, functional, and thoughtfully designed, each room includes a furnished terrace and all modern comforts: air conditioning, Wi-Fi, TV, and a multimedia streaming device that allows guests to cast content from their smartphone or computer directly onto the screen. A coffee and tea station is available in every room, perfect for a relaxing break in complete privacy. For guests travelling for work, a dedicated smart-working setup is also available. The various room types differ in size, location, and view, offering versatile solutions tailored to the needs of couples, families, and small groups—all designed to ensure a stylish and comfortable stay.

Beach

The private beach is about 1 km from VOI Daniela Essentia. It can be reached on foot along a path through the pine forest, or by shuttle train. It is equipped with umbrellas and sunbeds, which are available to guests subject to availability. The beach is sandy with some stones, and in some periods the water currents may cause the shoreline to narrow. The use of shoes is therefore recommended. The entrance to the water is gradually sloping. Beach towel included, Ecotax required for each change. The requested contribution will be donated to eco-friendly initiatives described on site.
A shared powerbank station is available on the beach.

Sport

The resort offers a rich programme of activities designed for wellness, sport and entertainment. Guests can regenerate body and mind along jogging trails or through paths dedicated to body & mind.

Sports activities include yoga sessions, meditation, HIIT Fit workouts and access to five-a-side football pitches, synthetic grass tennis courts, padel, beach volleyball, beach tennis and table tennis.

There is also a recently renovated gym with modern equipment. Sports equipment can be hired for individual use on request and for a fee.

Families

The resort welcomes guests aged 12 and over, guaranteeing a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere ideal for those seeking a holiday dedicated to wellness and tranquillity.

The evenings are enlivened by a rich entertainment programme: every evening, live music and piano bar performances alternate at the pool bar. Once a week, the atmosphere is electrified by an exclusive party accompanied by a DJ set.

Twice a week, a special guest – selected from among prominent artists – offers artistic performances that make the experience even more unique.

For those seeking alternative moments of relaxation, the silent cinema under the stars offers the chance to enjoy a film surrounded by nature, with audio through headphones and a personalised language selection: an evocative and engaging experience.

Restaurant

Overlooking the swimming pool, the main restaurant offers many dishes of Salento and regional tradition, with selected quality ingredients. A corner of the breakfast room is reserved for gluten-free products. The chefs are always willing to accommodate guests with food intolerances.

The treatments available are:

Half Board: breakfast (wide choice of typical Salento pastries and express cafeteria at the table) and buffet lunch or dinner at the Main Restaurant and its terrace overlooking the pool (meal at Guest's choice), with bottled water and soft drinks with meals.

Full Board: breakfast (wide selection of typical Salento pastries and express coffee at the table), buffet lunch and dinner at the Main Restaurant and its terrace overlooking the pool, with bottled water and soft drinks with meals.

Two bars are available, one by the pool (table service or directly at the sunbeds) and one on the beach.

Services & Activities

The resort offers a wide range of services designed to ensure a comfortable, relaxing, and enriching stay. Guests can enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the property, a TV lounge with a large screen, and two elevators for easy access. There is also an unguarded internal car park equipped with an electric vehicle charging station.

For moments of wellness and relaxation, the resort features a dedicated area with sauna, whirlpool, beauty treatments, and massages. Additional amenities include an outdoor swimming pool, boutique, newsstand and tobacco shop (located in the village square of Conca Specchiulla, independently managed), as well as bookcrossing spaces for sharing and exchanging books.

Laundry service, external medical assistance (upon request and for a fee), a pharmacy purchase service, luggage handling at arrival and departure, a digital newsstand, and a dedicated mobile app are also available. Guests may rent cars directly at the hotel and book electric bike rentals with guided tours and excursions (services subject to charge).

The resort also offers two meeting rooms, one of 165 m² (up to 130 guests) and another of 77 m² (up to 50 guests), ideal for events and business gatherings.

For an enhanced stay, the VOI+ formula (available at an extra cost) includes: a reserved beach spot from the third row (1 umbrella and 2 sunbeds), a reserved table at the main restaurant, complimentary minibar setup upon arrival (with water and soft drinks), VIP courtesy set, evening turndown service, late check-out until 1:00 p.m., and a beach shopper bag with travel-size sun products.

The VOI Essentia concept is reflected in the VOI Care philosophy, which involves a dedicated team ensuring every detail of the guest experience is handled with care. This includes a Guest Relation, sports specialists, a marine biologist leading themed activities, and destination experts offering unique insights into the local area.
