Location
The resort is located in the picturesque Marina di Ugento, at the heart of the Ionian coast of Salento, nestled in a lush pine forest and facing a private beach with fine, white sand. Its privileged position makes it an ideal base for exploring some of Puglia’s most iconic destinations, such as Lecce, Gallipoli, and Otranto.

The nearest airport is Brindisi, approximately 120 km away.

Hotel
This elegant 4-star Superior Eco-Resort is distinguished by its refined use of local tuff stone, a hallmark of the Salento region. Set within a protected natural park and surrounded by a dense pine forest, the property is composed of 10 buildings known as corti, which house a total of 333 rooms harmoniously integrated into the landscape. The average distance between the rooms and the reception area is approximately 300 meters.
Awarded as the Best All-Inclusive Resort at the World Travel Awards from 2021 to 2025, Vivosa Apulia Resort features a spacious lobby with reading area, multiple dining venues, an open-air amphitheater, a conference center, and a modern wellness spa. Outside, guests can unwind in a multi-level pool area with four central pools and extensive sun terraces available daily from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

There is no shuttle service available either to the beach or between the rooms and the common areas.

Check-in is strictly from 4:00 p.m. onwards.
Check-out must be completed by 11:00 a.m.

Rooms
The resort features 333 rooms, spread across 10 two-storey Corti, all furnished in a Mediterranean style and equipped with essential comforts: satellite TV, individually controlled air conditioning, safe, hairdryer, and a private bathroom with shower. Each room includes a pleasant outdoor space—either a garden-view terrace for ground-floor units or a balcony for rooms on the upper floor.

All rooms are strictly non-smoking. A baby cot or bed rail for children can be requested, subject to availability, at a daily supplement of €15. Beds in children's rooms measure 180x80 cm.

Please note that any requests regarding room location, even if made at the time of booking, do not constitute a contractual right and are not guaranteed.

Beach
The resort features a private beach, also suitable for children, which can be reached on foot by walking through the pine forest located directly in front of the property. The beach lies approximately 400 metres away, and no shuttle service is provided. Guests are not permitted to use golf carts.

The crystal-clear waters of Marina di Ugento, with their Caribbean-like hues, gently wash over a stretch of soft, white sand. The area reserved for Vivosa Apulia Resort guests is fully equipped with sun loungers and umbrellas.

Important note: It is not possible to reserve sun loungers or umbrellas either on the beach or at the pool. Any personal items placed to hold a spot will be removed by staff.

Beach towels, sun loungers and umbrellas are included and available both at the beach and pool, but are subject to availability and cannot be reserved.

The beach service operates from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and is accessible to guests with disabilities, including the use of JOB chairs. All pools are equipped with gently sloping access points for ease of entry.

Wellness Centre
The resort is home to the VOS – Vivosa Organic Spa, an elegant 800 m² wellness centre that has earned multiple international accolades, including Spa of the Year for four consecutive years (2019–2022) and Luxury Resort Spa at the International Spa & Beauty Awards 2022.

Designed to promote deep relaxation and rejuvenation, the spa includes a sauna, Turkish bath, bio-sauna, sensory showers, Kneipp path, heated outdoor pool with hydromassage areas, relaxation zones, massage rooms and a cryosauna. A wide range of wellness treatments is available at an additional cost. Guests also have access to three Technogym-equipped fitness rooms.

Spa access is reserved for guests aged 18 and over. Fitness rooms are available to guests aged 16 and above.

Sports
The resort offers extensive areas dedicated to sports and physical activities, catering to a wide range of interests. Guests can enjoy a variety of disciplines, including padel, beach volleyball, bocce, five-a-side football, archery, tennis (two synthetic grass courts), and table tennis. Evening use of sports facilities is available at an additional cost.

Additional amenities include two basketball hoops set in the pine forest, a jogging path, and three fitness rooms equipped with state-of-the-art Technogym machines. Access to the fitness areas is permitted from age 16 and up.

An exciting tree-top Adventure Park is also available for both children and adults, along with a full schedule of group classes such as Pilates, Yoga, Meditation, HIIT Fit, Spinning, TRX, Woga, and more—led by the Vivosa Fitness Crew.

For an additional fee, guests may rent racquets or bicycles for off-site use, book private training sessions with a personal trainer, or join horseback riding excursions and other unique experiences designed to explore and enjoy the Salento region in an active and engaging way.

Families
The resort places great emphasis on welcoming younger guests, offering a wide range of age-appropriate services and activities. Daily entertainment is organised by the Ecokids staff and divided into specific age groups: Baby Club (ages 2–4), Kid Club (5–7), Mini Club (8–10), Young Club (11–13), and Vivosa Tribe for teens aged 14–17.

Children can enjoy a playground, a freshwater pool with a slide, a shallow baby pool (40 cm deep), a tree-top adventure park, an educational organic garden, and dedicated areas for falconry and beekeeping. Creative workshops include ceramics, papier-mâché, and recycling art.

A dedicated children’s menu is available at the main buffet restaurant. Each evening, the central square comes alive with live music, baby dance sessions, and shows in the open-air amphitheatre.

Children and teens are expected to behave respectfully during entertainment activities. In cases of inappropriate behaviour, participation may be suspended without refund.

The resort’s private beach is also ideal for families with children, featuring fine sand and a gently sloping seabed.

A fully equipped baby feeding area is available to meet the needs of infants from 0 to 2 years old.

Restaurant
The resort’s main restaurant, Via Appia, serves a wide variety of Italian and international dishes in a buffet style. During the low season, the buffet may be replaced—at the discretion of management—with table service and a fixed three-course menu. For a more traditional and refined dining experience, guests can book a table at the Osteria Gourmet ‘A Puteca (available at an extra charge).

Additional options include the beach bar, the pool bar, and an elegant Lounge Bar—perfect for enjoying a drink or light bite throughout the day.

The Luxury All-Inclusive package includes: buffet breakfast, lunch, and dinner—or table service with a three-course set menu during low season, as decided by the management—theme nights at Via Appia Restaurant, snacks, fresh fruit, ice cream, and cocktails served during specific hours.

Non-alcoholic beverages (water, soft drinks on tap, juices, and hot drinks) are available from 7:00 a.m. to midnight at the Dolce Vita Pool Bar, and from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Scirocco Beach Bar.
Alcoholic drinks—such as draft beer, cocktails, aperitifs, national liqueurs, and prosecco—are served during set times.

Each Corte also features a self-service Acquabar, accessible 24/7.

Please note that the kitchen is not equipped or authorized to prepare gluten-free meals on demand. However, certified single-serving gluten-free dishes are available throughout the day, which guests may heat on their own.

Services & Activities
The resort offers a wide range of amenities to ensure a comfortable and well-organised stay. These include a paid laundry service, complimentary Wi-Fi available in both rooms and common areas, a central elevator, medical assistance upon request, and a boutique offering local delicacies, newspapers, souvenirs, tobacco products, and everyday essentials.

Guests also have access to an unguarded, partially shaded on-site car park with video surveillance, as well as electric vehicle charging stations.

A variety of excursions and curated experiences are available for an additional fee, along with access to the resort’s private beach area.

Please note: For safety and guest comfort, bicycles, rollerblades, scooters (including electric ones), and other recreational vehicles are not permitted within the property.

Pets are not allowed; however, several pet boarding facilities are available in the surrounding area.

Tourist tax: The Municipality of Ugento requires a city tax to be paid on-site.
