Surrounded by Mediterranean “macchia”, the Almar Timi Ama Resort & Spa property cover 11 hectar of land divided from the sea from a salt lake populated by pink flamingos. 

The hotel is located just 2 km from the lively town of Villasimius and 55 km from the international airport of Cagliari Elmas. 

Rooms

254 rooms spread over 3 floors, served by 5 lifts. All rooms at the Almar Timi Ama Resort & SPA can be garden or bay side and have a balcony or terrace, air conditioning, Wi-Fi connection, television with satellite channels, safe with personal code, minibar. In addition, free water replenished daily: 1 still, 1 sparkling (500 ml). Also available: telephone, room service, laundry service, turndown service, hairdryer, bathrobes, make-up mirror and C.O. Bigelow toiletries.

Beach 

The fine white sandy beach is approx. 500 m from the hotel building away. It is considered as one of the most beautiful beach of the entire island.

The beach has sun umbrellas, sun loungers, a snack bar and can be comfortably reached with the shuttle-service. For anyone who likes to do any group activities, the staff of the animation does organize different types of entertainment. 

Starting from the 3rd row, the sun umbrella and loungers are free of charge. The 1st and 2nd row are available with a surcharge: € 120.00 per day for gazebos in the first row, € 90.00 per day for parasols in the first row and € 65.00 per day for parasols in the second row. Subject to change. 

Wellness Centre 

The Seawater Spa Timi Ama at Almar Timi Ama Resort & SPA is directly connected to the hotel, and represents the highlight in the services of this hotel. The centre is opened daily and allows clients to begin any treatment every day of the week.

Sensory Path: (120 min) This consists of a 60 sq m heated seawater pool with massage jets, Turkish bath, biosauna, ice fountain, aromatic showers, salt room, emotional room and herbal tea room;
Thalassotherapy and algotherapy treatments;
Massages, facial and body treatments;
Brands: Cinq Mondes, Almablu, Fitomediterrannea;
Hair Spa: hair treatments. 

The sensory path is included for Prestige Suites and Mediterranean Suites (one entry per person per stay).

Sport

Guests can enjoy the following free services: archery, bocce, table tennis, tennis, football, muscle toning, water aerobics, beach volleyball, pilates and others. There is a Fit Lounge, fitness room and also the Fit Trail (1.2 km route with 18 fitness stations for outdoor training). The water sports and services available on the beach (for a fee) are very popular: kayaks, stand-up paddle, boat trips, windsurfing equipment, sailing equipment, centre for snorkelling and diving. Also only 700 metres away, horse riding centre and 18-hole golf course. Various excursions can be booked: caves, wine cellars, archaeological sites and guided tours of the city of Cagliari.

Families 

There are plenty of opportunities for families to relax at the Almar Timi Ama Resort & SPA. For the little ones, there is the Baboo Club from 4 to 11 years of age. For 12 to 17-year-olds there is the Teens Only with activities designed for teenagers. The Kid's Playground area features slides and swings. A babysitting service is also available (for a fee).
Evening entertainment with shows, live music, Sardinian folklore and more.

Restaurants & Bars 

The Almar Timi Ama offers an international cuisine at the Restaurant “La Veranda” with its terrace which enjoy a beautiful view over the swimming pool and the bay.

The half board includes breakfast and dinner at “La Veranda”, drinks are at extra costs to be paid on spot.

The restaurant “Mediterraneo”, located by the swimming pool, is opened for lunch and for dinner (from 10 pm to 1 am) and it offers to its guests a light carte.

The restaurant “I Ginepri” is located close to the beach. At lunch time it offers a light lunch (barbecues) while for dinner a menu (à la carte) with traditional dishes and fish specialities. 

During lunch time, is also possible to stay at pool bar Mov'ita, steak houses where salads, sandwiches and fruit salads can be found.

The rooftop restaurant 'Su Tea' offers gourmet dining with panoramic views of the bay, available in high season, adults only.

In the lobby bar 'la Vista', featuring a terrace with a panoramic view of the pool and the bay, excellent aperitifs are served at sunset. A wide selection of luxury spirits can be enjoyed after dinner.

The 'Chiringuito Beach House' bar with its informal and fun atmosphere is just a few steps away from the beach. Here you will find excellent gourmet street food, tailor-made cocktails and DJ sets.

The beach bar 'La Cabana Bianca' offers drinks and quick snacks to enjoy under the beach umbrella and fresh poké for lunch.

Services & Activities 

The lively heart of the hotel is enriched by a beautiful swimming pool with sweet water. Along the swimming pool are at clients’ disposal sun beds, umbrellas as well as the open air buffet restaurant “La Veranda” and the pool bar “Mov'ita”. A large car park and the opportunity to book interesting excursions are also available.

August bank holiday: Surcharge to be paid at the agency for all those staying the night of 15 August. From 12 years of age and upwards € 200.00 while for children aged between 2 and 11 years, the supplement will be € 100.00 per person.

Pets
At Timi Ama, small four-legged friends are welcome, provided they are of small size (up to 10 kg) and upon request. A daily fee of 30 euros applies, payable on-site. To ensure the comfort of all guests, dogs are not allowed in public areas such as restaurants, the pool, the bar, the beach, the spa, the fitness center, and the kids' club. Please note that other types of pets are not permitted.

Tourist tax – the municipality of Villasimius requires the payment of a tourist tax, starting from € 3,50 per person/night (excluding children under 11 years) to be paid on spot.
